Embracing figuration as the stylistic approach to the art of painting, Brian DiNicola found the necessary abundance of expressive opportunities in portraiture. Observing human anatomy as a universe of narratives displayed in physicality and garments of an individual, this young artist sees it as the ideal platform to explore problems in paint.
